COVID-19 has turned our world upside down. As we learn to navigate within the universe of the “New Normal,” it is imperative that we try and return to a sense of safety that we lost during the pandemic.

These proposed guidelines are presented here to help reestablish a sense of normalcy in our Health spaces cover a Day 1 (near term) and Day X (mid-term – six months to two years) approach. They include recommendations to enhance infection prevention protocols, policies and interiors/furniture solutions while maintaining a welcoming environment.

This document is meant to be descriptive with brief recommendations to achieve a psychological and physiological balance between safety and comfort for patients and staff alike.

HKS is committed to collaborating with our clients to aide them in their business recovery plans and lead with knowledge during these unprecedented times.
